Mediterranean Patio ArmChair

Veranda chair. Wrought iron frame with palmetto reed. Reed is a natural fiber that grows in the Moroccan landscape. It is carefully dried and breaded into rope-like thread. The reed thread is then woven by the artisan around the iron frame. I came across this artisan in the hills outside of Fez. I was impressed by his technique and care as he makes each chair into perfection.
