one of a collection of unique rugs from the 70s. these rugs are from a village in the high atlas south of marrakech - taznakht. the black border, made from camel and goat hair, give the rug such an intresting tribal look. the rug is 100% wool. the vibrant red is achieved using a traditional vegetable dye. these rugs tend to be long (up to 16ft) and narrow.
