Handmade Moroccan Brass Panels

Our brass perforated panels are made entirely by hand in an artisanal process in Morocco. First, the pattern is hand-drawn on paper to the desired scale. The brass is then hand-sawn using a tiny fretsaw, the same tool jewelers use. Every opening is hand cut. We work in small sections then we solder the brass using silver wire. After the piercing is complete, we gently pound the large brass sheet to render it flat. After that we apply the finish; antiqued brass, dark bronze, flat black or nickel as specified by the client. Our brass panels are made to order to your specifications. Lead time 8-10 weeks.
