One of a collection of unique rugs from the 70s. These rugs are from a village in the high atlas south of Marrakech – taznakht. The black border, made from camel and goat hair, give the rug such an intresting tribal look. The rug is 100% wool. The vibrant red is achieved using a traditional vegetable dye. These rugs tend to be long (up to 16ft) and narrow.
